Meet Marius Swanepoel
In April 1999, Marius Swanepoel founded Realclean Services with one simple conviction: cleaning should be done with the same discipline and thoroughness he learned during his military career. After years of service in the South African Defence Force, the transition to commercial cleaning was a natural fit — hygiene, order, and attention to detail were already second nature.
From the start, Marius's vision was clear: Realclean would never try to be the biggest cleaning company. Instead, the focus would be on building a smaller, stronger, and more service-oriented operation — one where every team member is dedicated and every client relationship is personal.
Beyond the business, Marius is a keen sport enthusiast. An avid cyclist and runner, he actively sponsors local cycling events across the Western Cape, giving back to the community that has supported Realclean for over two decades.
